As we’ve discussed this week, World Book Day isn’t about expensive costumes – it’s about celebrating the joy of reading!
You don’t need anything fancy to get involved – just a bit of creativity and whatever you have at home. Take it from me, here I am as Miss Trunchbull (yes, I know, I do look the part!)
It’s all in good fun – a dad’s shirt, a touch of make-up, and a whole lot of love for Matilda. No need for the frills – just a celebration of reading.
So, let’s keep it simple: whether it’s dressing up in a quirky way or just picking up a book, let’s honour reading in our own style. After all, it’s the stories that matter most.
